Fandy Ip is a partner of Vivien Chan & Co. and represents
clients in all areas of intellectual property practice including
non-contentious, contentious and transactional IP.
Fandy regularly advises on all areas of intellectual
property including IP portfolio management in Asia, strategy against bad faith
squatters, licensing and other transactional intellectual property, IP due
diligence and strategic acquisitions, prosecution and unfair competition law in
China and Hong Kong.
Fandy also passed the Greater Bay Area Legal Professional
Examination in China in 2022. The
Greater Bay Area comprises 9 municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai,
Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Guangdong
Province, which is key to China’s strategic planning and innovation-driven
development.
Outside of work, she enjoys Pilates and wine. Originally
from Macau, Fandy is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
