Owen Tse is a partner of Vivien Chan & Co. He has been recognized as the Dispute Resolution Leading Lawyer in Asialaw Leading Lawyers since 2015.
With over 10 years of practices in law, Owen is highly experienced in handling matters of multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution, intellectual property, regulatory compliance and construction. He has acted for a listed company subsidiary in disputes with the PRC vendor and the management buyouts of PRC businesses. He also advised on disputes arising from the pre-listing restructuring. He has assisted international brands in franchise and licence disputes as well as intellectual property rights infringement litigations. He also advised prominent individuals in high profile shareholders’ disputes, defamation and matrimonial proceedings. His experience in regulatory compliance includes food and drug regulations, privacy laws, trade promotion regulations, pyramid selling prohibition laws and SFC regulations.
Owen obtained his law degree from the University of London and is admitted in Hong Kong. He is also a notary public and qualified quantity surveyor. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
