Vivien Chan is the senior partner of Vivien Chan & Co., a greater China law firm with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. She has more than 20 years' experience in M&A, technology transfers and information technology, and related tax issues.

Vivien has been identified by the AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers surveys as one of Asia's Leading Lawyers for China Practice in year 2002 and 2003; for Intellectual Property from year 2003 to 2007; and for Mergers & Acquisitions and General Corporate Practice from year 2006 to 2007. She has also been named as one of the World's Leading Project Finance and Trademark Lawyers by Euromoney Legal Media Group in year 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Vivien is a Justice of Peace, and President of the Inter Pacific Bar Association 2002/2003. She is a Notary Public, a notarial Attesting Officer in PRC, and has been appointed Arbitrator of CIETAC, South China Arbitration Commission. She serves on a number of appeal boards, to include chairing the Advisory Committee on Travel Agents. She also serves as a member of Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hong Kong Hospital Authority and Air Transport Licensing Authority.

Vivien has served as independent director to listed concerns, and led noteable Corporate Finance and M&A projects in Hong Kong and China. The firm has acted for both underwriters and listed applicants in IPOs, and was counsel to the first company listed on Hong Kong's GEM in its listing exercise.

Vivien is fluent in English, Mandarin, French and Cantonese.

As of May 2005, Vivien has been awarded the Outstanding Woman Professional & Entrepreneur Award 2005.
